Bring Your Bible to School Day is an initiative lead by conservative Christian evangelical group Focus on the Family. It encourages students to bring their bible to public and private schools on the first Thursday in October, proselytize and share their faith journey story with fellow students and teachers.
Each year this event draws over 500,000 students from 50,000 schools across the nation. Participants are encouraged to sign up on the Focus on the Family website and download supporting materials.
